17th November 2024Too early for the Christmas market in St Pölten but luckily you can always rely on Vienna and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Christmas market in Schönbrunn and Hirschstetten were such a wonderful start to the season. Oh yes, we had to sample the mulled wine.

16th November 2024To all our friends in North London! We are coming to showcase our Austrian patisserie cakes at Forty Hall in Enfield. We will be at the Farmers market on Sunday 8 December from 10-3pm. After that there will be a break for the lambing season and the market will be back again in April 2025. 13th November 2024Serious scientific studies show that Vienna actually sinks 2mm in December under the weight of Austrian Christmas biscuits. They are everywhere, resistance is futile! Vanillekipferl are included in our Christmas biscuit selection. The biscuits were created in the shape of the Turkish crescent symbol to celebrate one of the victories of the Habsburg army over the Ottoman army besieged Vienna in 1485 and again in 1683.
